CARE was established in Rwanda since 1984, and currently covers 17 districts through active programs. The current 2021-2025 program strategy focuses on supporting 1.5 million disadvantaged women and girls aged 10 to 59, to transition out of poverty and thrive in the sustainable private-led economy, with equal rights and dignified living conditions.
